Movinator

1) Who Can Use Movinator

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re under the age required by your country to consent to data processing, you need a parent/guardian’s permission.
• When you create or manage an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• If you access on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2) Your License to Use the Service

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

The Service may include beta or pilot features. Those may change, break, or be discontinued at any time.

3) Acceptable Use

• No illegal activity, infringement, harassment, or spam.
• Don’t reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or bypass security/rate limits.
• Only use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and any third-party terms (e.g., app stores, streaming platforms you open via deep links).

4) Your Content & Feedback

If you submit content (like ratings, preferences, or feedback), you keep ownership, and you grant Movinator a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, reproduce, and display that content to operate and improve the Service. You also agree we can use feedback without restriction or compensation.

5) Intellectual Property

Movinator and its licensors own the Service and all related IP (including models, code, and design). These Terms don’t transfer any of our rights to you.

6) Recommendations Disclaimer

Movinator suggests titles using algorithms and signals. Recommendations can be wrong or unavailable in your region or on your plan. Always check availability and suitability before watching.

7) Third-Party Services & Links

We may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., streaming platforms, app stores, analytics). We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of them may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8) App Store Terms

If you downloaded Movinator from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. They aren’t responsible for providing maintenance or support. To the extent permitted by law, Apple and Google disclaim all warranties and liability for the app. You agree to comply with their usage rules.

9) Changes to the Service

We’re always improving. We may add or remove features, impose limits, or stop the Service entirely. Where reasonable, we’ll try to give notice of material changes.

10) Termination

You can stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk or harm, or for operational reasons. Sections that should survive termination will survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, governing law).

11) Warranties & Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, accuracy of recommendations, or availability of third-party content.

12) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOVINATOR AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) $50 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

13) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Movinator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflicts of laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, unless your local law gives you a non-waivable right to bring claims elsewhere.

Consumers in certain regions may have mandatory local rights; these Terms don’t limit those non-waivable rights.

15) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice (e.g., email or in-app).
